Labour Force Data

Yawn.

More evidence that Canada is doing just fine, thanks.
1) Economy added 36,000 11,300 (seasonally-adjusted) jobs in June.
2) Manufacturing staged a rebound, adding 20,000 positions. Construction hiring was also 2600 people.
3) Unemployment rate nudged down to a 33-year low of 6.0%.

UPDATE: The Globe takes issue with my numbers, saying a gain of only 11,300 jobs. My original estimate of 36,000 was me being a complete moron hasty and looking at the increase in population, not employment.
